Become a member of The Club and have full access to the six championship golf courses, great court sports (31 tennis courts, paddle ball, pickleball, bocce), and a 50,000-square foot fitness center. The Club also offers four clubhouses including seven dining options from traditional steakhouse and sushi to lowcountry traditional and fresh coastal catches. The Golf Experience

The Landings: One of Georgia’s Premier Golf Course Communities

Six 18-hole private championship Georgia golf courses are available only to members of The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, each one designed by such masters as Arnold Palmer, Tom Fazio, Arthur Hills and Willard C. Byrd.

Set against a stunning backdrop of stately hardwood forests, unspoiled saltwater marshes and pristine tidal creeks, all six golf courses near Savannah, Ga., are designated as “Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries” by Audubon International, offering challenging play for golfers of all skill levels – all within one cart ride away.

The Landings sits on Skidaway Island, a 4,200 acre barrier island in Chatham County, Georgia, about fifteen miles southeast of downtown Savannah. The community puts downtown at twenty minutes, and that holds up outside of rush hour and St. Patrick's Day. Understand what kind of island this is before you go further. Skidaway is a marsh island on the Intracoastal Waterway, not an oceanfront one. You get tidal creeks, maritime forest, and deepwater docks. You do not get a beach. Tybee is roughly forty minutes away by car.

We take great pride in our court sports program at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club. Whether you are a former tennis pro or simply enjoy socializing with friends across the net, The Club has the court experience for you.

From clinics to league play and everything in between, there is always something to do on one of our 31 tennis courts, 14 pickleball courts, or eight bocce courts.

Marina

World-Class Marinas and Yacht Services

There is no better way to take advantage of all The Landings has to offer than to set sail from either of our two full-service, deepwater marinas. Both offer access to the Atlantic and the Intracoastal Waterway, perfect for heading out for a fishing trip, a Sunday cruise, or a trip to a surrounding island.

Healthcare

Two full service systems, both about twenty to twenty five minutes off island. Candler Hospital, part of St. Joseph's/Candler, is a 384 bed hospital at 5353 Reynolds Street with the Lewis Cancer and Research Pavilion on campus. Memorial Health University Medical Center on Waters Avenue is a 530 bed tertiary hospital with the region's Level 1 trauma center. For everything short of an emergency, there is walk in urgent care at Sandfly on Skidaway Road, about ten minutes from the gate. The Marshes of Skidaway Island, a life plan community, is on the island itself, which matters more than people realize when one spouse needs a level of care the other cannot provide.
